  1. Its simple, yes, but that's not really helping in your design. The curvy white S and the two greys are very similar to an over used office workers' stationary paper design. We're graphic designers!!! So we should break out of the norm of society and express ourselves by showing our skills and individual styles!
All I see is a wrench (only thing connecting with garage) and overused office worker style two tone S design. You could try incorporating the wrench into your Gs logo rather than making the ends pointy triangles (or change your logo.)
The typefaces used have to be your own for Garcia's Garage not just a typeface you found on the computer because it has been copyrighted and you would need the owner's permission to use it unless otherwise stated by said owner.
If you are going to add owner to the card then make it so the card is personalized to the point you don't have to add the word owner. (ex. Sheldon Garcia 11 pt typeface at the top then below it the address, email, phone number, etc in 9 pt typeface.) Your name gets lost in the info when its in the middle. It needs to stick out more.
The info gets completely lost in the design for your letterhead and envelope. The person looking at it would have a hard time trying to decipher it. Its too jumbled. Also its really not a good idea to have a watermark wrenches in the middle of the letterhead paper practically speaking because it uses a lot of ink and when some is going to use the paper to type out and print an important document it might mess up their message in the letter making it hard to see.
Seeing the cross wrenches you could try making a logo out of that with Gs (not your current logo but your old sketches) that's original and remembered. Sorry its hard to explain in words but I could show you a small sketch (in class.)

Again sorry if I'm being mean or unhelpful. I just had to say what I thought.

  2. Wuz up Bro! nice work but I believe you can do better. Maybe do some hard texture or some unique flow with your background. I know you have what it takes like Mr. Chad said to us in his office but you know your skills can build an awesome style if you can put more into your design some how. My design was just as hard and time consuming but I tried and I did it. That's what you need to do bro. Like change it up with your business card and you letter head. It needs more flow, more manly style to it. with envelope, probably more thought into it because when I look back I see rush and less time on it. Maybe flow the background and fancy the logo to a better position. Other than that, you got it but it is half ways from being professional bro. Put more into it and it will get better. Later's.
